August was our manufacturing month: Bizconnekt now plans and runs production on the shop floor, checks quality, and sources what you need to buy — all on the same system.

Plan the floor. Check the quality. Source the buy.

Production, from plan to shop floor​

  • Work Orders — turn a parts list and a route into finished goods: release a run, and follow it stage by stage.
  • The Schedule board — resources down the side, time across the top; see the week ahead, spot the runs running late, and re-flow the plan.
  • Job Cards — a queue for the operator, one card per run, and a printable sheet the shop floor can sign.
  • Setup masters — register your machines, people and skills, and build shift calendars with breaks — laid out in the order a plant is actually set up.

Quality control​

  • Quality checks — set them up once: rules decide when an inspection is demanded and how hard it bites, checklists list what to inspect (and print as a work instruction), and records save the pass or fail of every inspection.
  • Inspect a goods receipt, a bill, a dispatch or what a conversion produced, right from the screen you raised it on.

Sourcing: RFQ, Bids & demand planning​

  • Request for Quote is rebuilt as a proper document — invite suppliers, then compare their priced offers.
  • Bids open like any other document, side by side with the list; enter a supplier's offer by hand, and approve or hold line by line.
  • Demand Planning — pick Buy, Make or Back-to-back on each line, gather a shortfall into a basket, split one requirement across suppliers, and commit shelf stock to an order.

Stock, stores & materials​

  • Stores — a store master with a tree picker, and a store field on goods receipts, stock adjustments and more, so you always know where stock sits.
  • Material Issue and Material Receipt — raise, review and correct a material slip, print it as a register page, and give each issue one of six clear reasons.
  • Lot tracking — turn on inventory or lot tracking for an existing item, name a lot series and set a shelf life.
  • Bulk import — starter templates are now built from the live form, and columns like unit of measure offer the allowed values instead of free text.

Also this month​

  • People — add and manage employees, and record attendance — the hours production costing has been waiting for.
  • UPI on your invoice — save a customer or supplier's UPI ID, and print a UPI payment QR on the invoice PDF.
  • "Ship To same as Bill To" — a one-tick shortcut on sales and purchase orders, matching the invoice.
