Workspace
Workspace is available on every plan, including the free DealFlow plan. It sits on your documents automatically — there is nothing to switch on. Everyone who can open a document can see and use its Workspace.
Workspace is your live feed of what's happening on a document. Open a quotation, a sales order, an invoice — anything you raise in Bizconnekt — and its Workspace shows the running story of that document: every comment, every update, every approval, and who has seen it. It keeps your team, and the partner on the other side of the deal, on the same page without an email chain.
Think of it as a shared activity log with comments attached — not a chat app. Nothing is scattered across inboxes and phones; the conversation and the history live right beside the document they belong to.
What Workspace does for you
- One timeline per document. Everything that has happened on that specific quotation or order, in order, newest activity in view.
- Comments and notes in context. Ask a question or leave a note on the document itself, so the answer stays attached to it.
- Who has seen it. Read receipts show which teammates have already opened the document's feed, so you know your message landed.
- Automatic history. Status changes, approvals, emails you send, and updates from a partner all appear in the feed on their own — you don't have to log them.
Why it keeps everyone aligned
| Without Workspace | With Workspace |
|---|---|
| "Did you see my email about that order?" | You can see they've opened it — the read receipt says so. |
| Questions and answers scattered across inboxes and WhatsApp. | The whole conversation sits on the document, for everyone who can see it. |
| No record of who changed what, or when. | Every status change, approval and update lands in the feed automatically. |
| A partner's reply lives in someone's personal inbox. | The partner's update appears in the same feed your team is reading. |
What shows up in the feed
Workspace gathers the things that matter about a document into a single timeline:
| Activity | What it looks like |
|---|---|
| Comments | A note your team writes on the document, with the sender's name and time |
| Status changes | When a document moves stage — for example, from draft to approved |
| Approvals | Who approved or rejected, with any comment they left |
| Emails | A record that the document was emailed out, and to whom |
| Updates | Edits and changes made to the document |
| Follow-ups | A reminder raised against the document (see Follow-ups) |
| Partner updates | When you share a document, the other side's reply or update appears here too |
A real example
You raise a sales order for a customer and share it with them. A day later:
- Your accounts colleague leaves a comment on the order — "Buyer asked to change the delivery date."
- The order's Workspace shows the comment, who wrote it, and the time.
- The buyer replies with their revised date, and their update appears in the same feed — no forwarded email, no lost thread.
- When your colleague opens the order, a read receipt records that they've seen it, so nobody chases a message that already landed.
Everyone looking at that order sees the same story, in one place.
How Workspace fits with the rest of BizView
- DealFlow is how you share a document with a customer or supplier and get their approval. When you share, their comments and decisions flow back into the document's Workspace feed.
- Approvals is where your team authorizes requests. Each approval or rejection is recorded on the document's Workspace timeline automatically.
- Follow-ups let you set a reminder against a document; the follow-up shows up in the feed too.
Bizconnekt runs your complete books on its own, and syncs two-way with Tally when you want to keep it in the loop — either way, the activity on your documents stays in Workspace.
