Tally Connector
The Tally Connector is the desktop agent that relays data between Bizconnekt and the Tally running on your computer. Configuration → Security → Tally Connector is where you download it and control the key it uses to connect — so it sits with the other security settings.
Each business unit has one active connector key at a time. Only tenant administrators can open this page.

Download and create a connector
- Click Download connector (.zip) and install it on the computer that runs Tally. If the download isn't available for your account yet, the page asks you to contact support.
- Click Create connector. Add an optional Label so you can recognise it later (for example, "CA Sharma — office PC"), then click Create.
- The Connector credentials window shows an agent ID and a secret. Click Copy both and paste them into the agent's settings file on the Tally computer. The secret is shown only once — click I've saved it when you're done.
The key locks itself to the first machine that uses it, so set it up on the right computer promptly. The Tally company name is set on the connector's side and appears here after the connector first checks in.
Read the connector list
The status badge at the top shows how the active connector is doing, and refreshes on its own:

| Online · Tally reachable | The connector is running and can talk to Tally. |
| Online · Tally not reachable | The connector is running, but Tally isn't open or can't be reached. |
| Offline | The connector isn't running or isn't connected. |
| No active connector | No key has been issued, or every key has been revoked. |
Each connector in the list shows its Label, Agent ID, Tally company, Machine (the computer it is locked to, or "not locked yet"), Status and Last seen. The status is ACTIVE, REVOKED (revoked by hand) or REPLACED (deactivated automatically when a new key was issued).
Replace or revoke a connector
- Re-issue connector — creates a new key and immediately disconnects the current one. The window names the machine that will be disconnected. Sync for the business unit resumes once the new key is set up on its machine.
- Revoke — stops an active connector straight away. The agent stops working until a new key is issued.
Use Revoke if the Tally computer is lost or replaced, or when the person who ran it leaves.
