Quotation Settings
The defaults you set once for quotations — and every new quote starts from them. This is where you decide how quotes are numbered, how they are signed and worded, and which documents they must carry.
Where to find it
Open the Bizconnekt admin console and go to Settings → Entity → Quotation. You need Tenant Administrator access.
What can you set for quotations?
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Automatic numbering | Turn on auto-numbering so each quote gets a number automatically, with your chosen prefix and starting number. |
| Required documents | Choose which files a quote must carry before it can be saved. |
| Signature | Add a signature to the printed quote. |
| Standard terms and conditions | Write the wording that appears on every quote by default, which the salesperson can adjust per quote. |
| Print template | Set the layout the quote prints and shares with. |
How to configure quotation defaults
- Go to Settings → Entity → Quotation.
- Turn on automatic numbering and set the prefix and starting number.
- Choose any documents a quote must carry.
- Add a signature and your standard terms and conditions.
- Click Save. New quotes follow these defaults.
What it affects
These defaults apply to every new quotation — typed in, bulk imported, or drafted for you — and to how quotes print and share. Changes apply to new quotes; existing ones are unchanged.
