Strict Audit Mode
Strict Audit Mode guarantees that no document exists without its audit trail. Every business action in Bizconnekt — invoices, bills, payments, orders, journals — records an audit-trail entry. With strict mode on, if that entry cannot be recorded, the action itself is cancelled.
The setting is off by default and is set per business unit.
Only tenant administrators can open this page. Other users see a no-access message.
When should you turn it on?
Turn it on only if you must be able to show a complete audit trail for compliance — for example, when an auditor or regulator requires that every posted document has a matching audit entry.
It is a trade-off between assurance and availability:

With strict mode on, a brief problem that affects only the audit trail blocks the business action until it recovers. Leave it off if keeping your team working matters more than a guaranteed, gap-free trail.
Turn Strict Audit Mode on or off
- In the Admin console, open Configuration → Finance → Strict Audit Mode.
- Switch Strict audit mode on (the label beside it reads Enabled) or off (Disabled).
- Click Save. The Save button appears only after you change the switch.
The change applies to the business unit you are working in. Repeat it in each business unit that needs it.
What your team sees
Nothing changes day to day — documents are created, edited and posted as usual. Only in the rare case that an audit entry cannot be recorded does a user see the action refused, with a message that it was cancelled because its audit entry could not be written while strict audit mode is on. Nothing is partly saved; they can simply retry.
