Customer 360 & lifecycle
Two features help you see the relationship, not just the records: lifecycle tabs on the customer list, and an Overview tab that summarises everything about one customer.
Prospects vs Customers
At the top of the customer list (Customers → View), three tabs filter by lifecycle:
- All — everyone (the default)
- Customers — records that have at least one invoice
- Prospects — records with no invoices yet
The split is automatic — there's no "convert" button and nothing to maintain. A prospect becomes a customer the moment you raise the first invoice for them. The tabs hide while a search is active.
The Overview tab
Open any customer's detail panel — the first tab is Overview. It answers "how is this relationship doing?" at a glance.
The header shows the customer's name, a lifecycle chip (Customer in green, Prospect in amber), and a health chip — Healthy, Watch or At risk. Hover the health chip to see the three signals behind it: payment behaviour, recent activity, and open pipeline.
The panels:
- Pending payment — the receivable balance, any advance held, and a red overdue badge when overdue invoices exist.
- Open deals — the count and total value of open leads and enquiries for this customer, listing up to five with their stage and value.
- Last activity — how recently anything happened (a call, an engagement, a follow-up) and what it was.
- Contacts — up to five contacts with the primary marked, plus where each contact came from.
Panels respect your permissions: if your role can't see leads/enquiries or contacts, those panels simply don't appear. The tab itself requires Customer — View, the same permission as opening the customer.
