How to View Stock Conversions

Overview​

The Stock Conversion list is your record of everything you've built — every kit assembled and every batch repacked. From here you can see what was made, how many, which parts it used, and where the finished goods went, so you always have a clear trail of how your stock changed identity.

Before you start​

  • You need permission to view inventory movements.
  • At least one Stock Conversion should exist to see anything in the list.

Step-by-Step Guide​

Step 1: Open the list​

From the left sidebar, open Stores & Inventory and click Stock Conversion. The list opens showing every conversion you've recorded, newest first.

Step 2: Read the list​

Each row is one build. At a glance you can see:

ReferenceThe unique number for this conversion — your handle for it.
DateThe day the build was recorded.
Finished ItemThe item that was built — the kit or repacked goods.
QuantityHow many of the finished item were made.
Source StoreWhere the parts were drawn from.
Destination StoreWhere the finished goods were added.

Step 3: Search and sort​

  • Search by reference number or finished item name to jump straight to a build.
  • Sort by clicking a column header — for example, sort by date to see the most recent builds first.
  • Page through the list using the controls at the bottom.

Step 4: Open a conversion for the full picture​

Click a row (or its expand arrow) to see the detail:

  • The parts consumed and how much of each — the recipe as it was actually applied.
  • The finished item added and the quantity.
  • The source and destination stores.
  • The cost carried across onto the finished item, so you can see it truly reflects what the parts cost.

This is your proof of how the stock changed — useful when a count looks different from what you expected and you want to trace why.

What you can check from here​

Confirm a build happened Find the conversion by its finished item and confirm the quantity and stores match what you did on the shelf.

Trace a stock change If a part's count dropped, open the conversions that used it to see exactly how much each build consumed.

Check the finished item's cost Open a conversion to see the cost carried across, so you know the finished item is valued on what its parts really cost.

Common Issues & Solutions​

A conversion isn't in the list Check your date sort and search term, and confirm the conversion was actually saved rather than left as an unfinished form.

The finished stock isn't where I expected Open the conversion and check the destination store. The goods may be sitting unassigned at the site, waiting to be put away — that's normal.

The parts consumed look wrong Open the conversion and compare against the item's recipe. The parts shown are the recipe scaled to the quantity you built.
